This limited-edition single malt from Ardbeg distillery – Drum – was released for Ardbeg Day, during Feis Ile 2019. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and rested in ex-rum casks. The nose is full of ripe banana, pineapple, cocoa and woodsmoke aromas, with hints of fresh ginger, cinnamon and lavender developing slowly. The palate offers notes of black pepper, ginger, clove and liquorice, alongside dark chocolate, rich smoke and vanilla. An intensely smoky, fruity dram, Ardbeg Drum is the perfect way to celebrate Feis Ile.
